2010 Final Torch Lighter Poll
There has been lots of debates on who will light the final torch (cauldron) at the 2010 Opening Ceremony for the Winter Olympics. VANOC has said it will not be released as to who it was but has said that it will be a Muhammad Ali moment. My vote is for Michael J Fox as it is really BC’s only Ali style moment which fits. Fox has not been an Olympian but in the past 2 Canadian Olympics the final torch lighter was not either. The only thing that throws doubt into my mind is that the trend since 1996 is that every final torch lighter has been an Olympian.

A little birdie told me it’s Wayne Gretzky, which would be cool.. but my vote is for Michael!
Gretzky is not an Ali moment though. So I will be very disappointed if it is him as he seems almost to cliche.
