Barefoot Running Log – Camel on my Bak

The final long slow run today was good. After doing such long distances every weekend it felt weird to do such a small run today. About 2k in my IT band started to get a bit tender so I slowed my pace down.
I am not sure if I will be able to get a PB at the BMO so my goal is to just finish. I am looking forward to it as it runs through Stanley Park which I have only walked to date never run. I hope I can find a running buddy to pace at the BMO. If your running the BMO and doing a 6:30 to 6:45 pace want to go the distance with me?
I tested out a CamelBak hydration pack. I have mixed feelings about it. I don’t like how it sways and the water swishing noise is strange. I do like the quick and immediate access you have to water. I also like how the cold water makes your back that much cooler. If I could find a way to adjust the pack so it doesn’t move so much it will be better. Do you use a CamelBak? If so what tips do you have for using it?
