Master Cleanse – Day 2 – Finding the Zone

bijatea

2 days down and only 8 more to go. I had a great day and really getting into the zone with the cleanse. The drinks are tasting better. I didn’t feel ill at all because I avoided the sea salt water.

It took me some time but I was able to hunt down the tea I wanted. It is Bija Deep Cleansing Tea. The reason I was looking for this one is because it is caffeine free. I have not had caffeine in my body for almost 7 months now. I don’t really want to add it back so this is a good solution. The tea tastes good, very earthy and good to brood over.

I was able to workout again and go biking for almost an hour for both. Total calories burned yesterday was 935. For those concerned about doing activity while on the cleanse it is not a problem if you are a regular exerciser.

On twitter I hear that people are getting headaches and are hungry. If you have a headache it is most likely because you drink caffeine. Take 2 aspirin’s and twitter me in the morning. If you are hungry drink more water or more lemonade. I find it easier to drink just more water. I don’t mean just another glass. Pull out a big bottle and drink the entire thing of water. You will be full. Your most likely not hungry but dehydrated.

I heard a tip for those still looking to do the sea salt a good way to do it is to make a small 6oz glass of water and 2oz of sea salt. Slam that down and drink a large glass of just water after. I am not going to test that method but if you do let me know if that works for you.

  1. wow, 2 days completed and 5 1bs lighter :)
You’re doing good, I read somewhere that if you want to increase the weight loss you should add less syrup to your drink and make sure your tea is a laxative, I use the Smooth Move fro GNC, it’s organic and free caffeine.

As for me 8 days down 2 to go. :-)

I couldn’t find the Smooth Move but if I run out of this type I will try it. I have seen a few people mention it.

Congrats on making it 8 days!

@Xirconnia suggested to try instead of salt water … Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar to the water. It’s tart, but equally effective in detox.

    Anyone ever tried that instead?

I started today. I took the smaller dose advice for the salt water. It wasn’t as bad as I anticipated. Here’s what I did:
    2oz. Sea Salt
    10oz. ICE COLD filtered water.
If the water is really cold, you don’t taste the salt as much and it goes right down. The lemonade is quite tasty, it has a nutty flavor from the dark maple syrup. I got Traditional Medicine’s Organic Smooth Move Tea from whole foods. It’s a little strange tasting, but good.

Since you’re 2 days a head of me, you give me a little peek into the future. Good Luck!
