Master Cleanse – Day 3 – Clarity

thirdeyebrainDay 3 of the Master Cleanse was another great day. No hunger pains and a good energy level. Tea that I found tastes really good and is nice to sit and brood over a warm cup of tea.

Today a feeling of Clarity washed over me. Like I could see things sharper, smell things miles away and everything was just clearer. My mind feels really sharp. It’s an interesting and almost euphoric feeling.

I have been following along with a few people on there own Master Cleanse and they talk about being hungry a lot. If your feeling hungry you should drink more of the lemonade or even just more water. One thing that you will find on this cleanse is that you will be peeing a lot. That is because lemon juice is a diuretic. Each time you pee your depleting your water level in your body. Your hunger is most likely your bodies way of saying you need more water. If any signs of hunger come about I pull out a big bottle (1.5 L) and start drinking.

I had an idea for those that want to chew and it was to chew gum. I thought that as it was not actual eating it would be okay. After asking a few on twitter that have done the Master Cleanse for years they said it would not be a good idea and would mean you have left the Master Cleanse. What do you think?

On day 2, chewing gum. It is not clarified in the book. If not in the book, have I left the MC? I don’t think so. Distracts me from my growling tummy.

I was fit when I started but could use a good detox. Not trying to lose weight. I’ve had to add additonal maple syrup (b) in hopes of keeping weight up.

    Any objections to more maple?

Phil 59% of the people would say yes :)

There is no definitative answer. The real key is if the toxins are being removed from your system in the end.
