Master Cleanse – Day 4 – Little Voice
Day 4 came and went by pretty quick. No hunger pains but of course it was hard to watch everyone in my house eat pizza around me. I have no problem it seems with the Master Cleanse and not eating food. I can handle the drinks. I can handle the no eating food.
There is a little voice in me that is saying is that all there is? I am actually feeling a little bored with the cleanse. I read many blogs that described this almost soul searching journey from this intense cleanse. I am sure for those people that might have been true. The difference of course is they probably drank caffeine, alcohol and ate poorly. I don’t do any of those nor have I for awhile.
The voice has me wondering if I should keep going. The answer is yes. The reason I should keep going is it is flushing the toxins out of me. That is a good thing and no matter if it is fun or soul searching it is something I should do.
The whole results so far has made me wonder what I am searching for. So far no answer but it requires more reflection…
Energy Level – Good
Hunger Level - None
Weight Lost - 10 lbs

I have no interest in doing this for more than a day at a time, but I am very interested in your reaction to this long series. Could you detail more what your workouts are during these days? Are you working out the same, less or not at all? I can always feel my body stressing out when I don’t get enough protein or carbs, so I just cannot fathom working out while on this cleanse. Thanks!
Cythia – I use the treadmill. I have toned down the level. Normally I keep my heart rate at 70% or higher of my Maximum. I lowered it down to 60%. I do an hour on the treadmill. The speed ranges from 2-3 Miles per Hour. I also have been doing light biking around the block.
Great! Thanks for writing about your journey so inspirational to others!
fabyjaguar. No problem I am glad it is helpful to you
Thank you for the reply, please keep us updated on your progress with the workouts. I’m really interested in hearing how it goes as the days go by. And congrats again on your weight loss achievements!
Do you feel more tired by the end of the day or has it changed your energy level at all? Also, have you noticed any changes in your sleep pattern… ie: falling asleep?
DM! Good to see you here. No not any more tired then normal. Energy levels are the same as the begining.
No changes to the sleep pattern at all.
