Running Log – Chilly Chase 2010

runninglog

500+ people all lined up and ready to go to do the 10k and 15k Chilly Chase was really impressive today. I was running later then I wanted to so I actually forgot my chip. Which means no official time for me but honestly I wasn’t there to win a time race I was there to finish it regardless of what time I finished. I finished it in 1:39:21 according to my Garmin which I think is a respectable time for my first 15k race. If you compare my pace with last week’s Dirby Reach I shaved 28 seconds off my pace.

Lessons learned from this race;

  1. Always put your chip on your shoe the night before.
  2. Ensure your water bottle is sealed before putting it back in your pocket.
  3. Purchase any type of run day nutritional products before the run.

    Approximately 127 million adults in the U.S. are plus-sized, and more than 1.6 billion worldwide. AS a BBW myself I do think big is beautiful. I am very proud of my size. I also have met many plus size friends on a BBW dating club called bigboobfriends.com. We are very popular here because we know size is only a number.
