Running Log – Back to the Hill
After the Green Thumb and the pain I endured I have not run taking 3 days off without any running at all. Today was my first run and my legs felt 100% tonight. I had lots energy and no pain on doing tonight 7 hills. Was great to see lots of people out at the hill who were from my new and old group and others from the marathon group who have perfect form. I have been working on my arm swings will going up the hill and making sure not to cross over my body. I did notice a lot of people who do cross over and wasn’t sure if I should tell them after the run about it. I will look into the protocol with Twila later to see.
I was able to do one hill with a wider stride then the others but I found it took a lot of energy out of me. I was also able to do a hill with short strides but I felt like I was going super slow. I did the other 5 with my normal stride.
What is your stride like when you run?
