Running Log – Short Run in Short Sleeves

runninglog

Back to our 5k loop. I think I can do this now with my eyes closed. As a person who likes to test variations to find the best method that works for me I tried 2 variations tonight. I noticed the last 2 weeks that I have been over heating with an urge to rip off my jacket mid run. With the cold months behind me for now I put on a short sleeve under armor heat gear shirt. I felt great during my run and not over heated once. I also tried to push my pace higher and found my first 4k to be really fast. The last 1k I just felt out of gas and my pace fell through the floor. Next week I want to try the opposite and compare the results.

Speaking of short. How short is acceptable shorts for runs?
